Event Overview:
The ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge 2025 (ASC25) began its first briefing session at SC24. The competition invites undergraduate teams worldwide to register by January 5, 2025. Teams can sign up through the official website: ASC25 Registration.
Competition Structure:
ASC25 includes three main stages: registration, preliminaries, and finals.

Registration Phase:
- Colleges and universities can form teams and submit applications by January 5, 2025.
- Teams can include one advisor and five undergraduate students. Institutions may register multiple teams.

Preliminary Stage:
- Runs from January 6 to February 21, 2025.
- Teams will submit innovative proposals for tasks defined by the organizing committee.
- A judging committee will evaluate submissions. Selected teams will progress to the finals.
- Finals:
- Scheduled for May 10–14, 2025.
- Finalists will design and build clusters, optimize High-Performance Linpack (HPL) and High-Performance Conjugate Gradient (HPCG) benchmarks, and work on specific AI and HPC applications.
- Teams will present their work in English to expert judges.
