chicago white Sox and Chicago Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf has been ordered to give a deposition regarding a lawsuit connected to a⁤ shooting at ⁢Guaranteed Rate​ field in August 2023. A Cook​ County judge issued the order Friday, ⁣according‍ to⁢ reports.

The incident, which occurred ⁤nearly two years ago, remains largely unexplained.

During the game, a 42-year-old ⁢woman sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, while a ‍26-year-old woman received a graze wound to her abdomen but declined treatment. in 2024, the older woman filed a lawsuit against the team, alleging negligence ​and recklessness.

At the time of the shooting, videos on X showed fans ⁤fleeing in panic. A ‍Vanilla Ice concert scheduled after the‍ game was canceled due to what was described as “technical issues,” according to an announcement on the‌ scoreboard.
