On November 6, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Shizhong District, Jinan City, Shandong Province issued a notice on the matter of “a woman reported that a staff member of the Market Supervision and Administration Office left a message of abuse because she missed a call.”
The report stated that after investigation, the two people reported by netizens were staff members of the Weijiazhuang Market Supervision Office of the Shizhong District Market Supervision Bureau of Jinan City. According to relevant regulations, two staff members were suspended; the director of the Weijiazhuang Market Supervision Office was transferred from his job; and ordered to apologize to consumers.
