Obituary for Annie McEvoy

Annie McEvoy (née Culleton) passed away peacefully on November 19 at her daughter Mary Bourke’s home in Portlaoise. She was surrounded by her family during her final moments.

Annie was the devoted wife of the late Pete. She is survived by her children: Peter, Mary, Roger, Pat, Ann, and Con. Annie was a cherished grandmother to Jordan, Tara, Leah, Rachel, Vivi, Thomas, Con, Callum, Fiachra, Darren, and Ciaran. She also enjoyed the role of great grandmother to Aoibheann, Conóg, Leo, Isabella, Oran, Holly, and Lennon.

Annie was a beloved mother-in-law to Angela, Tom, Catherine, Kieran, and Mary. She will be greatly missed by her nephews, nieces, relatives, and many friends.

Family and friends can pay their respects at Keegan’s Funeral Home in Portlaoise on November 20 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be a Rosary at 7:30 PM.

Annie’s funeral will take place at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, on Thursday at 12:00 noon, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
