Obituary: Janeanne McMahon

Janeanne McMahon (née McCarthy) passed away peacefully at Milford Hospice on November 16th. She was surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.

Janeanne was predeceased by her parents Gus and Mary, brother Joseph, sisters Maureen and Brigid, and her nephews John and Kevin as well as her niece Ruth. She is deeply mourned by her husband Ollie and their children: Marie, Olivia, Padraig, and Roisín. She also leaves behind sons-in-law Dan Davenport, Nigel Regan, Michael Moloney, and daughter-in-law Diane McMahon.

Janeanne was a cherished grandmother to Ciara, Sinead, Adam, Hayden, Ellierose, Jody, Hollie, Cathal, Darragh, Joshua, Isabelle, and Freya. She is sadly missed by her sisters Helen and Margaret, her brother Johnny, along with her nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.

Known for her selflessness, Janeanne devoted her life to her family and community. She brought joy and kindness to those around her through her energetic spirit and her roles as a mother, grandmother, nurse, and friend.

Funeral Arrangements

Janeanne will be reposed at the Cullinan & Nestor Funeral Home on Monday, November 18th, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM.

Her funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Church, Kilshanny, on Tuesday, November 19th, at 11 AM, followed by burial at Kilshanny Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations can be made to Milford Care Centre if desired.
