Obituary for Martha

Martha passed away peacefully on 26th November 2024 at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by her family. She was from College Green, Ennis, Co. Clare, and previously lived in McNamara Park, Ennis, and Moohane, Newmarket-on-Fergus.

Martha was predeceased by her parents, Ellen and Charlie, and her brothers, Finbar and Gerry. She will be sadly missed by her loving partner, Kevin McGrath, her daughter, Alma, son Andrew, and their father, Albert. She is also mourned by her son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Laura, and her cherished grandchildren: Aoibhe, Adam, Aimee, Alfie, Jack, and Liadh. Martha is survived by her siblings: Christy, Mary, Mairead, Anne, Joe, Pat, Michael, Trisha, and Senan, along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Martha will be reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Ennis, on Thursday, 28th November, from 6 pm. The removal will take place at 7:30 pm to Ennis Cathedral.

The Funeral Mass will occur in Ennis Cathedral on Friday morning at 11 am, followed by burial in Drumcliffe Cemetery.

The family requests no flowers; instead, donations may be made to Milford Care Centre, if desired.

Community Announcement

Cootes Shop on Kilrush Road, Ennis, will close until Monday, 2nd December, in respect for Martha.
