Remembering Mary: Funeral Details for a Beloved Mother and Grandmother

Obituary for Mary

Mary, from Clonadrum, Mullagh, and formerly of Caherea, Lissycasey, passed away at home on November 26, 2024. She was surrounded by her four loving children after a short illness.

Mary was pre-deceased by her husband George, her father Thomas, her mother Ita, and her brother Johnny.

She will be deeply missed by her sons Declan and Paul, and her daughters Lisa (Grehan) and Gina (Molloy). Mary is also mourned by her daughters-in-law Georgina and Marita, her sons-in-law John and Ken, and her eight grandchildren: Dean, Chloe, Matthew, Lee, Megan, Dylan, Ella, and Lauren.

Mary is survived by her beloved sisters Lucy (Galway), Margaret (Dublin), and Ita (Wicklow), along with her sister-in-law Mary Flanagan (Toronto). She is remembered fondly by her extended family, friends, and especially her dear neighbors Gerry Moloney and Olive O’Loughlin.

Rest in Peace

Mary will repose at St. Mary’s Church in Mullagh (Eircode V95 D429) on Wednesday, November 27, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The Requiem Mass will occur on Thursday, November 28, at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
