Obituary for Ronald (Ron) Chandler

Ronald (Ron) Chandler passed away on November 18th, 2024, at the age of 96. He died peacefully in Sligo University Hospital, where he received excellent care from the doctors, nurses, and staff.

Ron was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia, and his daughter, Carol. He will be deeply missed by his family, which includes his daughter Julie, grandchildren Richard and Alex, great-grandchildren Josh and Emily, sons-in-law Keith and Jim, and Alex’s partner Jodie. He is also remembered by his nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Ron will lie in repose at The Kilgarriff Funeral Home in Ballaghaderreen on Monday evening from 6 PM, concluding with evening prayer at 7 PM.

On Tuesday morning at 11 AM, there will be a removal from the Funeral Home to Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan, where a Committal Service will take place at 1 PM.
