Carter, who first gained international recognition as a child star in the late 1990s, passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 34. His career spanned several decades, beginning when he was only seven years old, following the formation of the Backstreet Boys, the group featuring his older brother, Nick Carter.

Musical Career and Commercial Success

Carter established himself as a prominent figure among preteen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 2000s. He released his self-titled debut album in 1997 at the age of nine, which achieved global success by selling one million copies worldwide.

His commercial momentum increased with the release of his second album, Aaron’s Party (Come Get It), in 2000. This record sold three million copies in the United States and led to increased visibility, including guest appearances on Nickelodeon and tour dates with the Backstreet Boys.

Aaron Carter was found unresponsive on November 5, 2022, at his residence in California. A Los Angeles sheriff’s spokesperson stated that deputies responded to his home in Palmdale at 10:58 a.m. Local time, where they discovered a deceased person.

Reports indicated that Carter was found in his bathtub following a 911 call regarding a drowning. His death was confirmed by Lori Graf, the manager of his brother, Nick Carter.

Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family.
