Expansion of Renewable Energy Portfolio
As of March 31, 2026, ReNew’s total portfolio grew to 20.2 GW, including 1.7 GW/6.2 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS), up from 17.3 GW at the same period in 2025. The company also expanded its solar manufacturing capabilities, with 6.4 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity and 2.5 GW of solar cell capacity, while announcing plans to add another 4 GW of solar cell capacity by December 2026.
Growth in Solar Manufacturing Revenue
ReNew’s external sales from solar module and cell manufacturing operations contributed significantly to its financial performance. For FY26, revenue from these operations reached INR 41,944 million (US$447 million), a 216% increase from FY25’s INR 13,253 million (US$141 million).
