Rep. Ritchie Torres sees the corruption represented by Mehdi Hasan. Why don’t other Democrats do the same?
- Mehdi Hasan, a prominent Jew-hating journalist, tried to blame the victims of the Amsterdam football massacre.
- before The game called for a “Jew hunt” and described Maccabee fans as “female dogs.”
- “Mehdi Hasan is justifying the pogrom against Jews in Amsterdam.
Mehdi Hasan, a prominent Jew-hating journalist, tried to blame the victims of the Amsterdam football massacre. Bronx Congressman Rich Torres (D-NY) has rejected his party’s despicable stance on Israel from the beginning and has shot him down.
Hasan on
This is a simple lie. From that day on, WhatsApp messages appeared. before The game called for a “Jew hunt” and described Maccabee fans as “female dogs.”
It’s also a call for sympathy for anti-Semitic thugs.
And Torres bravely entered the battle.
He lashed out at Hassan on Instagram. “Mehdi Hasan is justifying the pogrom against Jews in Amsterdam. But make no mistake. “Mainstream media will continue to platform Hassan because America no longer treats anti-Semitism as a moral good that must never be crossed.”
Hassan is right, Torres is right. Justifying the pogrom.
Hassan’s clumsy efforts to retreat from his initial stance demonstrate this.
The rep is also right about the fact that anti-Semitism is no longer treated as prohibited in this country and that Hassan will not face any real consequences.
This is thanks to decades of efforts by the radical left to normalize Jew-hatred as a form of ‘resistance’ and ‘anti-imperialism’.
And thank you to the Democratic Party for standing with fellow radicals and proposing full political inclusion.
Not to mention the bear hugs Barack Obama and Joe Biden have offered Iran.
After October 7, leftist cadres no longer hid their hatred, but openly praised Hamas and used Goebbels-style rhetoric that only Jews could be guilty.
Among them, Hasan stands out.
It would be the easiest thing in the world for mainstream journalists and Democrats to prove Torres wrong by rejecting Hassan and his fellow theorists.
Don’t hold your breath.
