Residences Dar Saada Wins in Marrakech
Marrakech Housing Initiative: Dar Saada Group to Lead Rehousing effort
A notable step towards improving living conditions in Marrakech is underway with the selection of eight real estate operators to provide housing for families currently residing in unsafe and unsanitary areas. The initiative, launched through a call for expressions of interest, aims to deliver a total of 23,000 properties to those in need.
The Residences Dar Saada (RDS) group emerged as the primary beneficiary of the program, securing the largest share of the housing allocation. RDS itself was awarded 7,650 units, while its subsidiary, Saada 10, received an additional 7,773 units. Combined, the RDS group will deliver over 67% of the total housing – a ample commitment to the project.
Somebal followed as the second-largest provider, allocated 4,234 properties. Other companies selected to participate include Addoha,Immolog,Tanger sakane, and the Yousra real estate company. Though, the Addoha group received a comparatively small allocation, with 87 units assigned to the main company and an additional 21 units to its subsidiary, Addoha Essalam, totaling 108 units.
