Logisteed, Sompo Japan Insurance, and Sompo Risk Management Introduce AI-Powered Safe Driving Education Service

Logisteed, Sompo Japan Insurance, and Sompo Risk Management have announced the launch of⁣ a new service that utilizes AI-powered dashcam video analysis to deliver personalized safe driving education⁢ content to⁤ drivers. The service, set to begin in September, aims to improve road safety by providing targeted training to drivers who ‌have experienced ⁣near-misses while driving.

The new service leverages the AI-powered dashcam technology ‍of Logisteed’s safe driving management solution, SSCV-Safety, to detect near-misses and provide analysis data to Sompo Risk Management. Sompo Risk Management⁤ then uses this⁤ data to deliver⁢ tailored educational content to drivers, focusing on ​eight‍ types of near-misses that drivers have experienced during their work.

The service⁤ offers two key benefits: (1) ‌effective educational content⁣ tailored to drivers’ specific needs, and (2) reduced burden on managers and costs​ associated with education and training. By targeting ⁣only drivers who require guidance, the service aims to ⁣optimize the education and training process.

The partnership between Logisteed, ⁤Sompo Japan Insurance, and ⁤Sompo Risk Management⁣ was ⁣formed in April 2023 to provide transportation companies with measures to‌ improve business efficiency, create a‍ healthy and safe working environment for truck drivers, and prevent​ traffic accidents.

The new service addresses a common challenge faced by transport companies: providing effective ⁣training to⁣ drivers despite labor shortages.
