Nissan Partners with Acciona to Bring Ultra-Compact Electric Mobility to Europe
Nissan Europe has teamed up with Acciona’s automotive brand Silence to introduce clean, compact electric mobility solutions to the European market.
- Nissan Europe will sell the Silence Nano S04 ultra-compact EV and electric motorcycles in France and Italy from June 2024, Germany from September, and the UK from October.
- This partnership is part of Nissan’s new management plan “The Arc,” which aims to grow and strengthen its competitiveness in the European market.
- The partnership will bring new electric mobility solutions to European customers and further strengthen Nissan’s commitment to a sustainable future.
Nissan Europe and Silence Partnership
Nissan Europe, a subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., has announced a partnership with Silence, an Acciona vehicle brand and Europe’s leader in ultra-compact electric mobility. Through this partnership, Nissan Europe will sell the ultra-compact EV ”Nano S04″ suitable for urban driving and electric motorcycles in select European markets.
Nano S04 Features and Specifications
The Nano S04 is available in two grades, L6e and L7e, to meet all urban driving needs. The key features and specifications of the Nano S04 include:
- L6e: Cruising range of 175km, top speed of 45km/h
- L7e: Cruising range of 149km, top speed of 85km/h
- Equipped with two 5.6 kWh batteries, which can be charged directly or replaced with a charged battery at an Acciona Battery Station
- Removable batteries, making them easy to charge at home or in the office
- Monthly subscription basis for batteries, reducing the vehicle acquisition cost by up to 30%
- “My Silence” app, providing access to cutting-edge digital services, including keyless entry, location tracking, driving range, and battery charge status
