China Radio and Television Joins Hands with Online Audio-Visual Platforms to Relive Classics and Ignite Youthful Dreams
Starting from September 1, the second “Revisiting the Classics” online exhibition and broadcast event, initiated and organized by China Radio and Television, officially kicked off under the guidance of the Network Communication Bureau of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China and the Network Audiovisual Program Management Department of the State Administration of Radio and Television, and supported by the China Internet Development Foundation and the China Network Audiovisual Program Service Association.
The theme of this event is ”Revisiting Classics and Ignite Youthful Dreams”. China Radio and Television not only organized cable TV network companies across the country to carry out all-media promotion and dissemination around the special exhibition and broadcast activities, but also joined hands with Mango TV, iQiyi, Youku, Tencent Video, and Bilibili, which participated in this event, to carry out cross-network, cross-terminal, and cross-screen integrated dissemination through mobile and PC network audio-visual platforms, striving to create a wave of attention to, viewing, and admiration for classics among young people across the country.

This special exhibition and broadcast event was launched at the beginning of the school season. China Radio and Television and various online audio-visual platforms have carefully selected a number of classic film and television works that span the times, covering TV series, movies, documentaries, animation, and educational programs, which will illuminate the youthful journey towards the future for young people, ignite the never-extinguished fire of dreams, and inject more inspiration and motivation into the new school year.
The TV series “The Long March” and “Ideals Illuminating China” connect those key moments in modern history that illuminate the darkness, and let the odes of faith and tenacity witness the brilliance of youth ideals and unyielding fighting spirit; the movies ”Song of Youth” and “Heroic Sons and Daughters” sing the spiritual growth of young people in the revolutionary torrent with delicate emotions, and bring together the glorious silhouettes of heroes of all times; the documentary “Come on! New Era” vividly records how Chinese youth in the new era should forge ahead.

The special exhibition and broadcast event of “Revisiting Classics and Ignite Youthful Dreams” will lead young people to relive those inspiring heroic stories, explore the courage, wisdom and faith contained in classic works, and lead young people to appreciate the mirror of history, listen to the horn of the times, and taste the inheritance of culture.
China Radio and Television responded positively to the State Administration of Radio and Television’s call to improve TV content services and strengthen high-quality free content supply. The “Revisiting Classics” free on-demand zone was launched, which has been promoted in key positions on the homepages of cable digital TV platforms of cable TV network companies in 34 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
The “Revisiting Classics” TV live broadcast channel, guided by the State Administration of Radio and Television, hosted by China Radio and Television, and undertaken by Beijing Gehua Cable, was officially launched for cable TV and live satellite TV users nationwide. The ratings have been rising steadily and have been well received by the audience.
