Artist Daoud Hussain tops the charts on social networking sites, as news of his revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship spreads.
Although no official decision or comment has been issued to confirm or deny what is being raised about the famous comedian, here we observe the most important facts about him.
Who is Daud Hossain?
Dawood Hussain was born on 5 November 1958 in Al-Sawaber area of Kuwait.
He started his activity through school theater and made his first step into the acting world in 1974 in the play “The Will of the Decided”.
During his career, Dawood Hussain presented more than 50 television series, including “Dream Boy,” “Tomorrow Life Begins,” “Life Has Rest,” “Al-Hawail Mall,” and “Abra Street.”
Dawood presented 47 comedy plays, including “Hello,” “Crisis and Transgression,” “The Beautiful Policewoman,” “Vitamin W” and “His Excellency the Ambassador.”
In 1998, Fawazir presented “David in Hollywood”.

Daoud Hussain presented several shows including “Daoud Show,” “Douri El-Nujum” and “Fassel and we are back with Daoud”.
He is married to a Lebanese woman and has two children, Hussein and Ali.
Dawood, who was rumored to be of Pakistani origin, spoke about the delay in getting Kuwaiti citizenship, during his appearance at Rotana Khalizia’s “Hala Ramadan” program.
Daoud said: “I was born in Kuwait and since my days I have never felt a stranger to this land and my ownership with it is not determined by a paper or a deed in the heart.”
He added: “When you love the soil of a country, you will sacrifice everything for it and that is an immeasurable feeling that a person has.”
In October 2001, Daud Hussain obtained Kuwaiti citizenship by decision of the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and previously held a Bolivian passport.
