University Reforms: New Establishments and Closures
Significant changes have been made to various universities in the country. The Patnos Sultan Alparslan Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University has been closed, and in its place, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture has been established.
Other closures include the Boğaziçi University Aydın Doğan Institute of Communication, Gümüşhane University School of Physical Education and Sports, and Çankaya University Institute of Science and Social Sciences.
New establishments include the Institute of Film and Media Studies of Boğaziçi University, the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Gümüşhane University, and the Graduate Education Institute of Çankaya University.
Furthermore, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, affiliated with the Rectorate of Uşak University, has undergone a name change to the Faculty of Theology.
