Heavyocity Media has announced the launch of MicroFX, a new range of effects plug-ins designed to provide musicians, sound designers, and producers with powerful, streamlined tools for creative sound processing.
Each MicroFX plug-in offers unique, focused effects that are fun, beautiful, and easy to use, while delivering production-ready sound quality.
The X|Y pad is at the heart of each plug-in, providing a new method of modulation and user interaction that unlocks new creative possibilities with every movement.

The first three products in the new MicroFX family are Obscene, Filter, and Shimmer.
- MicroFX Obscene: Delivers intense distortion that transforms synth bass and drums with extreme gain, bit reduction, and fuzz effects.
- MicroFX Filter: Offers filtering capabilities with a variety of modes and routing options, perfect for introducing dynamic movement into your sound.
- MicroFX Shimmer: Combines reverb with pitch shifting to create bright, ethereal washes that enhance guitars, pianos, pads, and strings with vintage-style modulation and dynamics control.
For a limited time, the MicroFX Collection (including all three plug-ins) is available for $99 (regularly $119), and each individual MicroFX plug-in is available for $39 (regularly $49).
