Supporting School Refusal with the 3D Metaverse: A Free Online Seminar for Educators
JMC Corporation is hosting a free online seminar for educators to introduce a method of supporting school refusal using the 3D metaverse. The Tokyo Virtual Learning Platform (VLP) uses the 3D metaverse space to provide a new place of residence and learning for children and students who need support for school refusal or Japanese language instruction.
This time, we have invited Atsushi Ehara, a teacher at the Shinjuku Ward Education Center’s ”Tsukushi Classroom,” as our guest speaker. “Tsukushi Classroom” uses the VLP’s 3D metaverse space as part of the guidance and support it provides to children and students who are not attending school, to promote social independence.
