Revolutionizing Business in Benin: ADPME Unveils Groundbreaking Support System for SMEs
ADPME Strengthens Beninese Entrepreneurial Ecosystem through Innovative Initiatives
ADPME has taken a significant step in bolstering the Beninese entrepreneurial ecosystem through the implementation of a coordination system to support small and medium businesses.
Laurent Gangbès, Director General of ADPME, and Koladé Okoudjou, Chief of Staff of the Minister of SMEs, launched the strategic workshop that introduced this innovative system.
Strengthening the Capacity of the Institutional Ecosystem
The primary objective of this workshop was to enhance the capacity of the institutional ecosystem in favor of entrepreneurship through better coordination of support systems and the orientation of beneficiaries towards organizations that can respond more effectively to their various needs.
A New System for Coordinating Support Interventions
The new system will enable the coordination of interventions by different partners (public and private) to avoid duplication and make the most of resources. Regular monitoring and exchange will help identify the real needs of SMEs, and projects will be better adapted to meet these needs.
Benefits of the New System
The new mechanism will establish thorough monitoring of all interventions, ensuring greater transparency in project management and improving their efficiency. This system will also guarantee effective support for businesses, avoiding redundancies and promoting synergy between all stakeholders.
Implementation of the Coordination System
Galbert Honouvè, Director of Planning, Evaluation, and Monitoring of ADPME projects, presented the implementation of the coordination system. Structured on two levels, strategic and technical, it will strengthen collaboration between stakeholders and ensure that current projects meet the real needs of SMEs.
Strategic Framework
The strategic framework of this system provides for three annual meetings with technical and financial partners to discuss main directions and support priorities. Technical meetings will be held quarterly to assess project progress and resolve operational challenges.
