Hyosung Information Systems has announced the launch of its software-defined block storage solution, VSP One SDS (Software Defined Storage) Block. This innovative product combines specialized software with standardized customer infrastructure to support edge, core, and cloud environments.

The VSP One SDS Block solution facilitates data movement and management, ensuring consistent performance for all applications, regardless of their location. It provides flexible petabyte (PB) scale across hybrid cloud distributed applications, guaranteeing granular performance, low latency, and supporting enterprise-grade software-driven innovation.

Integrated with VSP One Storage, applications can be seamlessly migrated across hybrid clouds. The solution standardizes hardware to a common platform, reducing operating costs by only changing software. When additional capacity is required, performance and capacity can be independently expanded simply by adding x86 nodes to the cluster.

The patented HPEC (Hitachi Polyphase Erasure Coding) data protection technology accelerates performance while minimizing investment.
