Yonsei University and Pulley Campus Partner to Enhance Educational AI Services
Freewheelin, the operator of AI-powered courseware Pulley Campus, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Yonsei University to improve students’ basic academic skills and develop AI-based courseware for university education.
The partnership aims to enhance the basic learning abilities of first-year students and current students at Yonsei University’s Sinchon and International campuses in subjects such as mathematics, science, and Korean. The institutions will also provide personalized learning support tailored to individual levels.
Joint Research and Development
Based on joint research analyzing academic performance, Freewheelin and Yonsei University will focus on developing personalized AI course tools suitable for large courses to improve basic academic skills and productive AI use.
The partnership will begin with a rollout and pilot operation in the second half of 2024, with plans to build customized AI courseware for Yonsei University by 2028.
Initial Implementation
Initially, the partnership will introduce diagnostic assessments for math proficiency and learning support for students on academic probation, as well as Korean language diagnostic evaluations for foreign students and Koreans living abroad.
Starting in the first half of 2025, the range of subjects and students will gradually expand, with plans to implement a personal learning support system for major courses by 2028.
