Revolutionizing Entertainment: China Radio and Television Unites with Top Online Platforms for a Groundbreaking Collaboration
China Radio and Television Launches Second “Revisiting the Classics” Online Exhibition Event
China Radio and Television, in collaboration with several major online audio-visual platforms, has announced the launch of the second “Revisiting the Classics” online exhibition event. This initiative is guided by the Network Communication Bureau of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the Network Audiovisual Program Management Department of the State Administration of Radio and Television.
The event, which officially started on September 1, is supported by the China Internet Development Foundation and the China Network Audiovisual Program Service Association. China Radio and Television has joined hands with iQiyi and other online audio-visual platforms to promote and disseminate classic film and television works among young people across the country.
The theme of the event is “Revisiting Classics and Ignite Youthful Dreams”. China Radio and Television has carefully selected a number of classic film and television works that span the times, covering TV series, movies, documentaries, animation, and educational programs. These works will illuminate the youthful journey towards the future for young people, ignite the never-extinguished fire of dreams, and inject more inspiration and motivation into the new school year.
The special exhibition and broadcast activities were deliberately selected to be held at the beginning of the school season. China Radio and Television and various online audio-visual platforms will carry out cross-network, cross-terminal, and cross-screen integrated dissemination through mobile and PC online audio-visual platforms, striving to create a wave of attention to, viewing, and admiration for classics among young people across the country.
China Radio and Television responded positively to the State Administration of Radio and Television’s deployment of TV charging and operation complexity management in 2023. The company quickly launched the “Revisit Classics” free on-demand zone, which has been promoted on the homepage of cable digital TV platforms of cable TV network companies in 34 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
On February 1, 2024, the “Revisit Classics” live TV channel, guided by the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television, hosted by China Radio and Television, and undertaken by Beijing Gehua Cable, was officially launched for cable TV and live satellite TV users across the country. The ratings have been rising steadily and have been well received by the audience.

From May to June 2024, China Radio and Television joined hands with five online audio-visual platforms to jointly launch the first online exhibition and broadcast event with the theme of “Revisiting the Classics and Appreciating the Charm of Famous Works”, providing audiences across the country with a cross-platform, cross-time, and cross-cultural spiritual feast.
