AI Innovation Education: 4 Key Projects Announced

Ha Tae-kyung, head of the Insurance Training Institute, expressed his ambition to enhance the capabilities of both the industry and consumers through new financial education that combines innovative technologies such as AI.
The Insurance Training Institute held ‘AI Convergence Innovation Capacity Building Training for Executives and Employees’ and announced four key projects to leap forward as a center for AI innovation education.
Key Projects for AI Innovation Education
President Ha Tae-kyung said, “The Insurance Training Institute will quickly respond to changes in the financial industry through AI and digital innovation and become a central organization leading AI and future financial education.” He added, “We will further enhance the capabilities of both the industry and consumers through new financial education that combines innovative technologies such as AI, fintech, and blockchain.”
The four major key projects are:
AI Insurance Job Training: Provides a curriculum that effectively applies AI technology to practice and cultivates AI utilization capabilities through practice and case studies to accelerate the introduction of AI in the insurance industry.
AI New Financial Education: Fosters talents who will lead changes in the financial industry through digital financial education that combines cutting-edge technologies such as AI, fintech, and blockchain with essential financial knowledge.
AI Literacy Education: Provides an opportunity to understand the basic principles and utilization methods of AI, cultivate technical capabilities and ethical attitudes toward AI, and strengthen problem-solving skills and professional competitiveness through AI.
Insurance AI Media Center: Introduces an AI Media Center to promote the Insurance Training Institute AI program, building a representative AI education information platform suitable for the AI era and providing the public with correct insurance knowledge and reliable certification information on the latest insurance systems and policies.
Future Plans
The Insurance Training Institute will establish an ‘AI Planning Committee’ and push ahead with four key projects at a rapid pace. President Ha Tae-kyung said, “With the development of digital innovation technologies including AI, financial services are becoming more diverse and complex, and the responsibility of industry training institutions to improve the capabilities of both industry workers and financial consumers is enormous,” adding, “We will do our best so that the Insurance Training Institute can fulfill its role as a center for AI innovation education in the future.”
