Training Experts in Healing and Medical Tourism

The Jecheon Oriental Medicine Bio-Healing and Medical Tourism Academy, co-hosted with Jecheon City, has been successfully completed. This academy was planned to train experts in healing and medical tourism using oriental medicine and bio resources in the Jecheon region and to establish Jecheon as a center for healing and medical tourism.

Training Details

The training was held four times from October 23rd to 31st, and 66 Jecheon citizens and people working in the healing and medical tourism industry participated.

In the training, various theoretical and practical courses were conducted on the topics of oriental medicine, rehabilitation medicine, and complementary and alternative therapies.

Practical Courses and Experiences

Participants experienced various methods of healing and medical tourism through the Five Element Color Psychology Intensive Course, Muscle Immunity Self-Exercise Course, Aroma Healing Intensive Course, and Aroma Alternative Medicine Course, and developed the capacity to develop Jeche Bay’s unique healing tourism program.

Expectations for the Future

Officials from Jecheon City and the Jecheon Oriental Medicine Bio Promotion Foundation stated that they expect the talents cultivated through this training to contribute to the development of Jecheon’s oriental medicine bio-healing and medical tourism industry.
