Apple Releases iOS 18.1 with AI-Powered Features
Foreign media outlets have reported that Apple has released new operating systems, including iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, which contain some features of ‘Apple Intelligence’.
Apple has fixed minor features or bugs in the first version of the operating system. However, this year, the new ‘artificial intelligence (AI) system’ has included a number of major improvements, including the Apple Intelligence function.
The iPhone 16 series was promoted as the AI iPhone when it was released. However, due to the delay in the release of Apple Intelligence, Apple’s AI functions could not be used properly.
The Apple Intelligence feature released this time only supports iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
First Equipped with Apple Intelligence Function
Apple Intelligence features added in iOS 18.1 include writing tools such as text correction or rewriting and a text summary function.
A complete overhaul of the voice AI assistant Siri has also begun. User requests and questions can now be entered as text to Siri, which previously only supported voice.
In Notepad, you can summarize call recording and transcription functions for phone calls and voice files that are additionally offered in iOS 18.1 through AI functions.

Apple Intelligence is currently available on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, M series iPad and Mac, and A17 Pro-based iPad mini.
Phone Call Recording and AirPods Pro Hearing Test Functions Have Also Been Added
In addition to Apple Intelligence features, iOS 18.1 adds the ability to use AirPods Pro as a simple hearing aid through a hearing test function.

Additionally, for the first time in 17 years since the launch of the iPhone, a call recording function will be supported.
