Roborock Unveils First All-in-One Washer/Dryer ‘Zero One’ at IFA 2024

Roborock Expands Product Category to ⁤Include All-in-One Washer/Dryers

Roborock is expanding its product category to include all-in-one washer/dryers, with the ‘Zero One’ expected to be released domestically, drawing attention to ‌its innovative features.

At IFA 2024, Europe’s ⁤largest home appliance fair, held in Berlin, Germany, Roborock⁤ announced its entry into the washer/dryer ‌market and ⁤unveiled the ‘Zero One’, an all-in-one washer and dryer equipped with the ‘Zero-Cycle Drying Technology’ developed by Roborock.

The ‘Zero One’ is powered ⁤by a quiet and energy-saving DD motor, allowing it to ⁢efficiently wash⁣ 10kg of fabric and dry 6kg of fabric. It also features the ability to remove bacteria, pet dander, allergens, and the toughest laundry stains.

The core technology behind ⁢the ‘Zero One’ is the ‘zero-cycle’ medium-temperature drying technology, which can dry delicate clothes at an accurate medium temperature controlled by AI algorithm and NTC smart sensor to prevent damage.⁣ This ‌technology, inspired by natural zeolite, can absorb 288,000m2 of moisture ⁣without extreme ⁤heat, equivalent to 41,143 times its own surface area.

The ‘Zero ‌One’ also offers the Roborock LintClear self-cleaning system, which automatically collects and removes lint​ without the need to manually clean the lint filter. It is combined with a smart self-dosing system for​ detergent.

In addition to⁢ the ‘Zero One’,‍ Roborock showcased various products, including the latest robot vacuum cleaners, such as the flagship models Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, Qrevo Pro, and Qrevo S, as well as the cordless wet and dry vacuum cleaners ‘Flexi’ series and ‘Dyad’ series, and the cordless vacuum cleaner ‌H5.

Roborock also introduced new products, including the ‘Roborak Qrevo Curv’,​ scheduled for release in ‌the second half of the year. The Roborak Qrevo Curv is a product that minimizes ‍the ‍inconvenience of having to separately clean up long ⁣hair or fur that gets tangled in the⁣ vacuum cleaner brush, equipped with various functions such as a double tangle prevention system.

A Roborock official stated, “This IFA will showcase Roborock’s diverse product lineup ⁣that has culminated in the last 10 years of technological prowess,” and “Roborock will continue to introduce products that improve ‌users’ ‍quality of life based on ‍its innovative technological prowess.”

Roborock is currently operating in over 170 countries around the world, including the U.S., Germany,‌ France, and‌ Spain, and ⁤has ranked first in global robot vacuum cleaner market share in 2023 according to Euromonitor. In Korea, it has maintained the top spot for three consecutive years ⁣since 2022, with a 46.5% share of the robot vacuum cleaner market in the first ⁤half of 2024.
