iOS 18 Introduces Pause Button for Video Recording
According to a report by MacRumors, an international media outlet, iOS 18 has added a new feature that allows users to pause video recording.
In previous versions of iOS, stopping video recording and starting a new recording would result in split files. However, with the introduction of the pause button in iOS 18, users can now pause and resume video recording within a single file.
The pause button is located above or to the left of the record button. Pressing this button will pause video recording, and pressing it again will resume recording. To stop recording, users can press the center record button.
This new feature is expected to be available with the “Camera Control” button introduced in the “iPhone 16” series.
The pause button is particularly useful for creating short videos, which have gained popularity in recent years. With this feature, users can easily record fast-paced short videos without having to worry about changing apps or tools.
