The company already announced months ago that it will start operating as a virtual mobile operator.
Digital bank Revolut has officially fully entered the telecommunications sector and has become a virtual mobile operator. So it does not have its own network, but uses the networks of other operators. It made the service available to customers in Great Britain and Poland. Originally, however, it was supposed to be Germany instead of Poland.
For now, the services are available to clients who have joined the list and who have shown interest in the service earlier. The widespread launch for all users in the mentioned countries is planned for the beginning of next year.
Cheap service packages
The new service called Revolut Mobile works exclusively on eSIM technology. Thus, customers cannot order a physical SIM card, which partially limits the service to owners of newer smartphone models supporting this standard.
The activation and management of the flat rate takes place directly in the Revolut application. Users can keep their existing phone number or request a new one, according to the company.

In neighboring Poland, Revolut uses the network of the Play mobile operator. There are two non-binding packages on offer:
- Basic package: For PLN 25 (EUR 5.94) per month, the customer gets unlimited calls and SMS in Poland and the EU, 50 GB of data within Poland and 7 GB of roaming data within the EU
- Higher package: For 45 PLN (10.68 euros) it offers unlimited calls and SMS in Poland and the EU, 200 GB of data in Poland and 13 GB in roaming in the EU.
In the conditions, the company states a technical limitation of the data transfer speed to a maximum of 80 Mbit/s. 5G access is not allowed. The packages also include additional services such as VPN access (NordVPN). After a minute of data, it will be possible to surf with a very slow speed of 16 kbit/s, which is sufficient for sending messages at most.
Cheaper in Britain only for the introduction
In the UK, the introductory price for an unlimited data plan is set at £12.50 per month (€14.26) until February 2026, after which it will rise to £14.99 (€17.10).
The British flat rate includes unlimited data on the domestic market with a speed limit of 100 Mbit/s, as well as 20 GB of roaming data for the EU and the USA. 5G network is also enabled. Unlike the Polish offer, international calls are limited to 50 minutes and 100 SMS messages.
The situation in Slovakia
Although Revolut is established as a banking service on the Slovak market, it does not yet provide its own mobile flat rates with a phone number. Slovak customers have available in the application only data eSIM packages intended primarily for traveling (roaming).
Business she confirmed in the springthat he is also interested in Slovakia. He wants to offer flat rates with us in the next phase. The specific time horizon of entering the Slovak telecommunications market has not yet been specified.
