Czech Baseball Team Explores Taiwan’s Culture and Beauty
The Czech baseball team, currently in Taiwan for the World Top 12 Baseball Tournament, has been actively exploring the local culture and sharing their experiences on social media.
As part of their preparation for the tournament, the team was invited to play two exchange games with Taiwan. During their free time, the players have been taking in the sights and sounds of the island, from riding motorcycles to trying local cuisine.
Connecting with Local Elements
Czech pitcher Chisek shared that he was inspired to connect with Taiwanese local elements after seeing many motorcycles on the streets. He borrowed a motorcycle and took photos, which were later shared on the team’s official Instagram account.
Chisek praised Taiwan as a beautiful country, citing its delicious food and stunning scenery. He also mentioned that he had never encountered a typhoon before and was scared when he saw fallen trees and debris on the road.

Chisek mentioned that the team’s promotion wanted them to walk around Taipei wearing their jerseys and take some pictures. He thought borrowing a motorcycle would be a great way to connect with the local elements of Taiwan.
A New Experience for the Czech Team
Chisek didn’t have a chance to play in the previous game, but he said it was his first time experiencing the crowd atmosphere and loud music at the Taiwan Dome.
