KIRCHENFELD – The multi-purpose hall Kirchenfeld was buzzing with excitement Saturday as the St. Gallen cantonal championships took place. A nine-member organizing committee ensured a smooth event, with equipment ready for the athletes. The kitchen team started early, preparing for the influx of attendees.
Despite the pleasant spring weather,a large audience filled the hall to watch the performances. Many families were present to support their daughters or sisters competing.

Mia Baumgartner secured the St. Gallen cantonal championship title in the youngest category, finishing third. Amy Hauser, Tesur Künsel, Elisiana Nikaj, Marilena Nikaj, Leni Leufen, and the RG Diepoldsau Schmitter group also celebrated victories.
Lea Schefer was absent due to an injury. She had previously won bronze with the RLZ RG Ost at the RG Ticino event in Biasca a month prior.

Vogel highlighted Sara Marijanovic’s fourth-place finish and Mayleen Hutter’s tenth-place result in the P3B category. Sydney Seitz and Melissa Bajramoska, both from RG Diepoldsau, reached the podium in the P3 C category.
