Diveana’s New Song “Llevo” – A Tribute to Venezuela

Venezuelan merengue singer Diveana has released a new song, “Llevo”, a pop version dedicated to her home country. The song, composed by José Manuel Montenegro González, is a heartfelt tribute to Venezuela and its people.

“Llevo” is a song that Montenegro composed during his early years outside of Venezuela, with the intention of preserving his Venezuelan identity. He expressed his joy and honor when he found out that Diveana would be recording his song, stating that it was a “great honor” to have her, a symbol of Venezuelan musical DNA, sing his composition.

The song was musically produced by Yoel Vivas, a talented pianist and producer, at the TwoStudioYa Studios in Miami. The recording also featured Edgar Ripoll on acoustic and electric guitars, José “Poke” Ferrer on drums, and Rafael Quérales on bass.

The music video was filmed at the JN Music Group in Miami, directed by Oscar Enríquez, with the support of Cyclorama White Studio. The graphic design package was created by Nelson Muñoz, based on Diveana’s costumes, which feature the Venezuelan tricolor.

Diveana expressed her connection to the song, stating that it made her cry due to its emotion. She felt a unique connection between the song and what she wanted to reflect: “we are good people and we should not stand out anywhere in the world.”

The song will be available on all music platforms starting September 9, and the official video can be found on Diveana’s YouTube channel.
