Rice University Enters Top 10 of Forbes’ “America’s Top Colleges” ⁢Rankings

Rice University, a prestigious private ‌university in ‍Texas, has made a significant leap in Forbes’ “America’s Top Colleges”‍ rankings, entering ⁤the top 10 for the first ‌time. The university jumped 13 places from last⁢ year’s 22nd position to 9th place this‍ year.

Forbes’ ‌rankings are⁤ based on 14 indicators, including average debt due ⁣to tuition aid and student ‍loans provided to current students,⁣ median salary 10 years after graduating from ​college, graduation ⁣rate, and ‌university financial status. Rice University’s impressive ⁣performance in these areas has⁢ earned it ‍a spot among the top 10‌ private universities in the New Ivy League selected by Forbes‌ this year.

With approximately 8,000 undergraduate‌ and graduate students, Rice ‍University has an​ annual tuition of $74,110 for the 2022-23 school⁤ year.‌ However, the average tuition grant is ⁢$51,955, resulting in an average debt per⁤ student of ⁤$10,818. The university’s acceptance rate ⁣is 9%, with admitted students boasting SAT​ scores of 1490-1570 and ACT scores of 34-36. The median salary of‌ graduates 10 years later is an impressive $152,110.

This year’s national rankings ​saw​ Princeton ‍University take the top spot‍ for the‌ second consecutive year, ⁣followed by Stanford, MIT, Yale, UC Berkeley, Columbia, UPenn, Harvard, Rice, and ⁤Cornell in the top ‍10. Other notable universities in Texas that made it ‍to the 500 Best Colleges rankings include the University of Texas at Austin (46th), Texas A&M University (70th), Trinity ⁢University⁢ (95th), and Southern Methodist University (99th).

A total of 23 universities in Texas were featured in the 500 Best Colleges rankings. ⁤The following are the universities in ⁢Texas that made it to the rankings:
