Longtime Global BC legislative reporter Richard Zussman announced on November 6, 2025, that he will be leaving the company after eight years of service. His last day will be Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Zussman joined Global BC in 2018 and quickly established himself as a leading voice in British Columbia political reporting. His coverage of the BC Legislature has been consistently insightful and thorough,earning him numerous accolades,including multiple Jack Webster Awards,RTDNA Canada awards,and Edward R. Murrow awards. He is known for his detailed questioning of politicians and his ability to break down complex issues for the public.
Beyond his broadcast work, Zussman is also the co-author of A Matter of Confidence: The Inside Story of the Political Battle for BC, a book offering an in-depth look at a pivotal period in BC politics. Prior to Global BC,he served as a provincial affairs reporter for CBC BC and contributed regularly to CKNW Radio,demonstrating a broad range of experience across different media platforms.
