Rather of generic alerts, users will now receive notifications such as, “A person is walking up the steps with a black dog,” or ”Two individuals are looking into a white car parked in the driveway.” The goal is to give homeowners a clearer understanding of what’s happening in real-time, allowing them to quickly assess if immediate action is needed. The AI feature analyzes the initial seconds of the motion-activated video.
The descriptive motion alerts feature is currently available as an English-only beta for Ring Home Premium subscribers in the U.S. and canada. users can disable the feature through the settings in the Ring app if they prefer the previous notification style.
