On the evening‌ of September 5, Beijing time, the bronze medal battle of wheelchair tennis at‌ the Paris Paralympic Games was ‍staged.⁤ Wang Ziying, a girl from Dazhou, Sichuan, and Guo Luoyao from Beijing defeated their teammates Zhu Zhenzhen and Li Xiaohui⁢ to win the bronze medal. This created the best record in ‍the history⁢ of Chinese wheelchair tennis women’s⁣ doubles at the Paralympic Games.

In 2008, Sichuan planned ⁣to establish a disabled tennis⁢ team. Wang Ziying was ⁤born in ⁤Tongchuan District, Dazhou City in 1998. ‍At that time, the Dazhou Disabled‌ Persons’ Federation recommended her to ‌Sichuan ⁤Sports University when she was less than⁤ 11 years‌ old. “During the selection, the examiner asked me to show ​my specialties. I can’t do anything except swimming.” At ‍that⁣ time, Wang Ziying was swimming happily in the​ swimming pool and was spotted by the coach ⁢at⁣ first sight. Since then, she​ has‌ been​ associated with wheelchair tennis. This ⁢year, Wang Ziying also won ⁤the Wheelchair Tennis Team World Cup with the Chinese Women’s ​Wheelchair Tennis Team, defeating the top seeded Dutch ‌team⁤ 2-0.

Wang Ziying said that she was very happy‌ to‍ win the medal, but she has already put her focus⁣ on the next game. It is⁤ reported that at 18:00 Beijing time ‍on September 6, Wang Ziying will participate in the ‌women’s singles ‍bronze medal match⁣ of wheelchair tennis, and her opponent is Vancourt Anik from the Netherlands.
