Hungarian actress Tallós Rita is opening up about life after the loss of her husband, a grief she experienced begining in May of last year, following a prolonged illness. The pair shared 15 years as spiritual companions, and his passing left a notable void in her life. In a recent interview with Best magazine, Rita shared her journey of rebuilding and rediscovering herself, alongside her daughter, Barbin Paula.
Rita explained that she felt unable to remain in the home she shared with her husband, seeking a fresh start by beginning construction on a new home in Szentendre. “After my husband’s death,I couldn’t stay in our home,I wanted to leave the past behind me. I started to build in Szentendre,” she shared. While surrounded by the love of her family, including her dog and cat, Rita acknowledges the absence of a partner in her life.
Finding Solace and Looking Ahead
Despite the support of her loved ones, Rita admits to feeling the absence of a companion. As she eloquently put it, “Of course, there is my family, my dog and my cat, who give a lot of love, but a companion is missing from my life. I don’t want to be a cat.” This poignant statement highlights the uniquely human need for connection and partnership.
Rita is channeling her energy into creative pursuits, organizing a new production of “Nude Truth” by the Lily production company, set to premiere at the RAM theater in early November. she expresses hope of completing her new home in time to spend Christmas there, leaving open the possibility of future companionship. “It may not be alone becuase who knows what, who the future will bring…”
