According to investigators, the shooting followed a traffic-related altercation between two individuals. An adult male suspect fired a gun from his vehicle at another adult male who was also in a vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Police Response and Arrest
Officers from the 4th District responded to the area of Georgia Avenue and Norbeck Road shortly after the report of the shooting.
Following the incident, police located the suspect on Softwood Terrace, where he was taken into custody.
Casualties and Damages
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported to the victim or any bystanders.
While no one was harmed, the victim’s vehicle was struck by a bullet during the encounter. Police stated that the scene has since been secured.
