MIDLETON,Cork – A beloved local eatery,Roastie Restaurant,will be serving it’s last meal on⁤ December 15th,citing the “ever increasing costs” of doing business as the reason for its closure.

“We opened Roastie Restaurant in Midleton with the view ⁤of creating a unique dining destination,” the owners wrote. “The core of our business was focused on family. When you,our loyal customers entered our premises we wanted you to feel welcome and to leave with a smile and a full belly.”

“most weeks ⁣all our tables are full in the restaurant but with the ever increasing costs it has become impossible to run a profitable restaurant,” they⁢ shared. “We have held on as long as possible, hoping something might change but now we feel it’s time to call it a day.”

The ⁢closure of Roastie⁢ follows a string of restaurant shutdowns in Midleton, including popular spots like Sage, La Trattoria, ⁤Farmgate, and Church Lane, highlighting the struggles faced by the hospitality industry⁤ in the area.
