Robin Goomes secured her third consecutive victory at the Red Bull Rampage women’s final on October 10, 2026, held on the same Utah mountain where the competition originated 25 years ago, Pinkbike reported. During a high-stakes second run containing a flat spin, a suicide no-hander, a backflip cancan near the bottom, and a backflip off a massive step-down, the 30-year-old New Zealander clinched the title with a mark of 93.50.

Robin Goomes Claims Third Straight Title Against Hannah Bergemann

Canadian Cycling Magazine reported that Goomes held off American rider Hannah Bergemann, who finished in second place after leading the competition following the first round of runs. Bergemann threw down a score of 91.25 in her opening run, which included a backflip near the top of the course, a clean descent through a raw chute, a massive drop, and a finishing suicide no-hander. Last year’s runner-up missed out on the top spot by less than two points as Goomes improved upon every maneuver from her first descent.

Early pressure in the event was also applied by Canadian rider Georgia van Horne, who combined a tuck no-hander, a toboggan, an Indian air near the bottom, and a suicide no-hander off a massive drop. Her efforts earned an 86.50 from the judges, putting her into an early lead before she chose to forgo her second run. Meanwhile, other competitors encountered dramatic moments on the mountain, as Casey Brown returned from a practice crash last year to clean the intimidating Maxi Pad feature, and 20-year-old Janelle Soukup recovered from a frightening second-run crash in the Poop Chute to finish her run.

Shared Starting Gates and Weather Watch at the 2026 Utah Mountain Course

For the first time in the history of the event, men and women shared the same starting gate on the original Utah venue. Riders spent more than a week digging, shaping, and testing their lines across the steep and unforgiving terrain before the finals. Pinkbike reported that the men’s training days also featured riders such as Cam Zink hitting his final drop, Reed Boggs navigating a technical line, and Pascal engaging with Szymon after a massive drop shared with Tomas Lemoine.

Canadian Cycling Magazine noted that the women’s event moved along efficiently without major wind delays, offering a stark contrast to previous editions affected by weather interruptions. However, approaching storms and winds continued to threaten the schedule for the remaining competition brackets.

Men’s Rampage Finals and Pending Weather Conditions

With the women’s podium decided, attention shifts to the men’s Red Bull Rampage finals scheduled for the following day on October 11, 2026. Organizers and competitors remain watchful of potential incoming storms and high winds that could impact the final day of riding on the exposed ridgelines.
