Rock Am Ring announces first names for its 40th anniversary in 2025

The last rays of summer haven’t even faded yet, but Rock am Ring is already throwing the first batch of names on the table for the 2025 anniversary edition. While the festival grounds are still biting the dust elsewhere, this European heavyweight not only announces new bands, but also an additional stage — the fourth in the festival’s history.

At the end of this year’s issue Slipknot already announced as the first headline. Now it is Bring Me the Horizon who will join the 2025 celebrations as a headline act. Unique, indispensable and completely irresistible: the only show on mainland Europe next year will shake the Nürburgring to its foundations. And if that’s not enough, he also does Sleep Ticket are preparing for their only European appearance in 2025.

And then there is Biffy Clyro. These Scottish titans, beloved in the UK and Germany, last set foot on Belgian soil in 2017, but are present in Germany. Also on the poster: IDLESthat let the post-punk fireworks explode, KIZ with provocative beats, A Day to Remember releasing the mix of hardcore and pop punk, and Lorna Shoreready to unleash a death core tsunami. Also The WarningMexican rock phenomenon, gets a place on this epic bill, as it is Beatsteaks, Fine cream fish fillet, Ginger, Powerwolf in The Spirit Within.

If you want to be there, you have to be fast. More than 55,000 fans have already secured their tickets, before the big bombs dropped on the line-up. For a festival that usually only opens its ticket sales gates after the big names, this is an unprecedented rush. Pentecost 2025 promises to be a festival weekend for the history books.
