Rod Stewart Cancels Shows Due to Flu‌ Ahead of Glastonbury​ Performance

Sir Rod Stewart, 80, ⁣has canceled two Las Vegas concerts at the Colosseum in Caesar’s Palace due to a bout of ‌the flu. The cancellations come just ahead of his scheduled performance at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage,‍ where he is expected to‍ play⁢ for a⁣ crowd⁤ exceeding 100,000 people.

Stewart‌ initially canceled ⁤Monday ‌night’s show just hours⁣ before it was set to begin, rescheduling ‍it for June 10. He cited feeling unwell in an Instagram⁤ post. A Thursday concert was⁢ also⁤ canceled,⁢ with​ Stewart apologizing to ⁤fans and stating that his doctor advised additional rest. It is unclear whether the second concert will be rescheduled.
