Rod Stewart Confirms Glastonbury 2025 Gig After Health Scare

Rod Stewart plans to ‌take the stage‌ at ⁤Glastonbury 2025, marking his first performance ​at the iconic‍ music festival​ in more than ​two decades. ⁤The “Forever Young” singer previously headlined the ‍festival in 2002.

The announcement follows recent​ health concerns ‌that⁤ led⁣ to the cancellation of a performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Stewart attributed the cancellation⁣ to doctor’s orders, citing a lingering sickness. He had also‌ canceled another Las Vegas residency show earlier, also due to health issues.

Stewart assured fans of his ⁢Glastonbury 2025⁤ performance in a statement ⁢on X, formerly Twitter, saying ⁢he was “thrilled” to⁢ return to ​the stage.

Despite scaling back on large-scale world tours, Stewart clarified late last year that he has‍ “no ⁣desire to retire.”

“I’m awfully sorry to have to cancel⁢ my show June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace,” Stewart shared online, citing the flu. “My doctor ​ordered a bit more rest while I recover.”
