Daltrey acknowledged the collective effort of supporters, including The Who and their fans, in elevating the charity to establish 28 specialist units in NHS hospitals across the U.K. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in recognition of his contributions.
“It’s kind of weird… It’s a dream come true for me, but it’s especially a dream because the charity means so much,” Daltrey told the Press Association.
