Rokid Launches AR Spatial Glasses Globally via Alibaba’s AliExpress

Chinese augmented reality (AR) glasses maker Rokid will launch its latest AR Spatial eyewear globally through Alibaba Group Holding’s AliExpress e-commerce platform. The move signifies the company’s push into overseas markets amid increasing industry competition.
The Hangzhou-based company plans to debut the augmented reality glasses overseas on June 16 during the AliExpress 618 summer sale. Rokid will leverage Alibaba’s “BigSave” program to offer a limited-time discount, reducing the price to $568, nearly $100 off the regular price, the company announced thursday. Alibaba owns the Post.
The AR spatial frames weigh 75 grams.Powering the glasses requires a portable hub containing a battery and a Qualcomm chip for spatial computing. the device allows users to view three desktops side-by-side and features a “cinema mode,” simulating a 300-inch screen experience.
The partnership includes Rokid opening an official store on AliExpress. It joins other Chinese tech brands in the BigSave initiative, including robotics maker Unitree, consumer electronics firm Anker, Labubu retailer Pop Mart, computer maker Lenovo Group, and smartphone giant Xiaomi. Alibaba reports the program, launched last year, aims to help 1,000 brands exceed $1 million in overseas sales this year.
