Rome, Italy – AS Roma kicked off the new year in style, throwing open the doors of their tre Fontane training complex to nearly 2,800 passionate fans ahead of the highly anticipated derby clash against Lazio on January 5th.
The atmosphere was electric as supporters, many of them children, filled the stands, creating a festive atmosphere with chants of “campo Testaccio” and “Mai sola mai” echoing through the stadium.
The session began with warm-up exercises,followed by a spirited scrimmage that saw the “white team” emerge victorious with a 2-0 win thanks to a brace from promising Primavera striker Giulio Misitano.

The session provided a glimpse into the team’s preparations for the derby. While midfielders Ryan and Cristante were absent, the rest of the squad participated, including Misitano, who was called up from the Primavera team.
