Wizz Air Lithuanian network Expansion
Wizz Air is substantially expanding its presence in lithuania with the addition of seven new routes and a third aircraft based in Vilnius. This investment underscores the airline’s commitment to the Lithuanian market and provides increased travel options for passengers.
The rollout begins on October 26, 2025, with the launch of a four-times-weekly service between Vilnius and Krakow, poland. Further routes will follow in December 2025, including daily flights to Tallinn, Estonia, and three-times-weekly services to Nice, France, and Turku, Finland.
Looking ahead to 2026, Wizz Air plans to introduce three-times-weekly flights between Vilnius and Tirana, Albania, starting March 31, and between Palanga and Oslo, norway. a twice-weekly service connecting Vilnius and Podgorica, Montenegro, is scheduled to begin on June 7, 2026.
“The deployment of a third aircraft at our vilnius base brings even more travel opportunities for Lithuanian passengers and underlines our long-term commitment to this market,” stated Andras Szabo, Wizz Air’s Commercial Manager for Central Eastern Europe and the Middle East Wizz Air Press Release.
