Benin and Morocco Strengthen Ties: President of the National Assembly to Visit Morocco
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Benin, Rachid RGUIBI, was received in audience by the President of the National Assembly, Louis VLAVONOU, on September 26, 2024, in Porto-Novo. The Moroccan diplomat carried a message from the President of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco, Rachid Talbi El ALAMI.
At the invitation of the President of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco, Rachid Talbi El ALAMI, the President of the National Assembly of Benin, Louis VLAVONOU, will soon visit Morocco. The visit follows the formation of two friendship groups, the Benin-Morocco Friendship Group and the Morocco-Benin Friendship Group, a few weeks ago.
The visit will provide an opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen the already excellent relationship between the Kingdom of Morocco and Benin, led by His Excellency President Patrice TALON and His Majesty the King of Morocco, MOHAMMED VI. The President of the Beninese Parliament also received the president of the National Union of Magistrates of Benin (UNAMAB) and the president of the Council of Private Investors in Benin (CIPB) in audience on the same day.
