Royal Foundation’s Together At Christmas: Honoring Community Heroes with Music and Reflection
The carol service is organized by the Royal Foundation, which supports the prince and princess. The event will include around 1,600 guests, including other royal family members and people recognized for their contributions to their communities.
Those honored at the service are nominated by charities linked to the royal family or by lord lieutenants, who represent the King in various counties. The service will feature musical performances by Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean, and Gregory Porter.
It will be filmed and aired on ITV1 on Christmas Eve. In total, 15 Together At Christmas services will be held across the country, including locations like the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro and Blackpool Tower Circus.
Kensington Palace highlighted that the service will encourage reflection on love and empathy, especially in tough times. The service aims to celebrate individuals from the UK who have shown kindness and support to others in their communities.
The theme draws inspiration from the Christmas story, which emphasizes the importance of empathy and understanding the experiences of others. The princess intends to honor those who inspire, comfort, and show love, marking love as the greatest gift.
