Princess Cruises is considerably expanding its presence in Asia, with the Royal Princess set to make its inaugural voyage in Southeast Asia in October 2026. The ship will homeport in Singapore, marking a key milestone for the cruise line and offering travelers new and exciting itineraries.
From Alaska to the Far East: A Grand Voyage
the Royal Princess will conclude its Alaska season on September 19, 2026, before embarking on a 26-night ”Southeast Asia, Japan & Alaska Grand Adventure Cruise.” This epic journey begins in Seattle, washington, and culminates in Singapore on October 16th. Passengers will experience the breathtaking scenery of Alaska, including Juneau, college Fjord, and Whittier, as well as a cruise past the majestic Hubbard Glacier.
The voyage then crosses the International Date Line, offering stops in japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and vietnam before arriving in Singapore. for those with less time, a 13-night sailing departs from Yokohama on October 4th, visiting Shimizu, Osaka, Keelung (Taipei), Hong Kong, and Chan May (Vietnam) en route to singapore.

Singapore Dry Dock and Inaugural Southeast Asia Cruises
Upon arrival in Singapore, the 3,560-guest Royal Princess, originally built in Italy, will undergo a two-week dry dock for maintenance and upgrades. Emerging on November 1st, the ship will launch its first Southeast Asia cruise – a nine-night voyage visiting Ho Chi Minh City and featuring an overnight stay in Bangkok before concluding in Ko samui.
A subsequent 13-night Southeast Asia cruise departs Singapore on November 10th, with a stop in Lombok, indonesia. These two itineraries can be combined for a comprehensive 22-night “Southeast asia & Australia” cruise, extending to Darwin, Yorkeys Knob, and Brisbane before arriving in Sydney on November 25th.

The arrival of Royal Princess in Singapore follows the debut of Revelation Princess, wich will make its maiden call to Singapore this October for a five-night Malaysian cruise. looking ahead, Princess Cruises is further solidifying its commitment to the region, with Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess scheduled to homeport in Japan for the first time in 2027, following a season of homeporting in Singapore from December 2026 to February 2027.
Diamond Princess will return to Singapore in December 2025, offering 10 to 12-day sailings to Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam after completing its Japan season.
